You never know your luck specking for opal on the fields. Matt and Jeremy spent days out on the Grawin mullock dumps during late July 2018 and eventually found their prize.Two green/orange/gold crystal opals which were then carved into freeform shapes through Down To Earth Opals. The opals weighed 15 carats in total. The boys will be back!

Commencing with the 2017 Lightning Ridge Opal Festival and biennial International Opal Jewellery Design Awards (IOJDAA), held during the last week of July. Lightning Ridge was chock full of visitors, buyers, sellers and curiosity seekers from all over Australia and the world....
