DOWN TO EARTH OPALS GUARANTEE TO YOU

As we are confident that you will be happy with your precious and unique opal, all of our cut and polished opals are sent with a 30 day money back guarantee. However, if for any reason you are not satisfied with the quality of any opal, or if you feel it does not match the opal description on this site, you may return it in exchange for another or for a refund of the purchase price (excluding postage and handling). We only require that the opals be returned in original condition and with all original packaging and invoice within 30 days of purchase. In addition, all our opals are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase. Within that time frame we will gladly replace or refund any faulty opal, as long as we are satisfied that the opal has been subject only to normal wear or use. Postal charges on all returns are the responsibility of the customer.

ROUGH OPAL

We will refund the price of any rough opal parcel purchased if the opal doesn’t meet your expectations, provided the parcel is returned to us within 30 days of its receipt by you, with its invoice and packaging, none of the opals has been processed in any way and the parcel is complete. However postal charges have to be paid by the purchaser.

PAYMENT

Prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include the 10% Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST). For conversion into any other currency please click on our Currency Calculator. For international orders, GST will automatically be deducted from the purchase price when you select the Tick if Export Purchase check box.

We accept payment by Visa and MasterCard only. Credit cards are debited for the purchase price and cost of shipping in Australian dollars. Conversions into the customer's own currency are conducted by the financial institution of the customer and final prices in the customer's currency will vary according to the exchange rate on the day.

SHIPPING

Posting within Australia

We ship your goods using Registered post that is fully insured up to the value of your goods.Opal up to $200 = flat rate cost of $10 this includes registered post, insurance up to the value of the opal and delivery confirmation.

Opal $200 - $5000 = flat rate cost of $15 this includes registered post , extra cover up to the value of the opal and delivery confirmation.

Opals over $5000 within Australia will be delivered by courier at no charge to the purchaser

All items will have a registration number and be traceable within the Australia post network and require a signature upon delivery. There may be times when a parcel is required more urgently and there is a fast track option available called Express post Platinum but this service is not registered or insured just a faster service.

Over $30000 within Australia and overseas specific arrangements can be tailored to suit both parties.

Posting Internationally

Opal up to $5000 = flat rate cost of $20 this includes air mail, delivery confirmation and is fully insured, (availability and maximum cover obtainable varies between countries).

Opal over $5000 will be sent via International Express Courier at no extra charge and be fully traceable.

There is also a fast track option available at an additional cost for international orders called Express Courier International.

INSURANCE

We insure all goods against loss or damage whilst they are in transit. Once your order has been shipped, we guarantee delivery unless the address you have supplied is incorrect, illegible or incomplete, or if the recipient is away or has moved - in which case you will be liable for payment of the purchase price and shipping cost irrespective of whether the order arrives on time or not at all.

We do not pass on any of your contact details to any third party whatsoever. Your personal details are kept highly confidential.

IMPORT DUTIES ON INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

International orders (orders delivered outside of Australia) may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the product reaches your country. All such additional charges are payable by the customer. When ordering from us, you are considered the importer of the ordered product and you must comply with any laws and regulations of the country in which the goods are received.
